"Presented by the Escuela Agricola Panamericana December 1956." Holotypes were transferred from EAP to US (see Dorr et al. 2009, Taxon 58: 993-1001). One of 3 sheets of the type collection at US, with one sheet (USNH 2215957) annotated as "TYPE 1st sheet of 4" but only 3 sheets (2215957, 2215958, 2215959) are at US; all were annotated as holotype by R.J. Evans (1993) but presumably one sheet remained behind at EAP. Dorr et al. cite "lectotype material" (2 sheets) at EAP with US sheets as isotypes.
