Transcribed from paperwork found with the specimen: Leaves: general appearance stem - base red. Quite full at tip as usual created there when put under cover glass. This is bottom layer, top ones only slightly so. Yes bottom layer toward round. Flattened yes complanate in two layers. When dry slightly crisp. Costa no. Serrated yes. The entire length usually _ very distinct especially top. Margin yes, of an thicker cell + shorter. Sometimes rather indistinct. Cells: general shape - long + narrow. Dimensions 5 m by 10 m. Papillose no. Alar cells same. Base cells same.
