Wooden slab carved with village scene. Oblong oval shape. Foreground has crowd of people, all in profile facing left, with large birds, a snake, and a bowl. Background has several houses and trees. Houses appear to have geometric patterns carved on the sides and thatched roofs. Storyboard has white paint in some of the carved lines. Heavy deposits of dried red mud in recessed areas. Back is smooth with black areas that appear to be burned. Donor purchased this storyboard at "Tribal World" shop in Mt. Hagen, in Western Highlands Province, but he says it is originally from the Sepik region.
