Notes:
Strip of cotton handwoven, handspun fabric. Thread is handspun, single-ply cotton with Z twist. Balanced plain weave, loosely woven. Background is beige, with 3 black warp stripes. Black cord along one selvedge. Unfinished ends.
According to the donor, she purchased this from a Fulani (Peul) weaver in the market at Labe, Futa Djallon, Guinea in 1979.
