Necklace of Ormosia seeds with pendant of 4 strands of seeds, each ending in cluster of feathers. Dr. Newton says this was obtained from and made by Po?poi, a 29 y/o female. Made for sale. Cordage is 2s tucum/caroa. Beads: large red and black ormosia, see other remarks for more information on the feathers. Price paid: 5 crs.
Red-and-Green Macaw, Ara chloroptera (multi color body/wing feathers); Amazonian Razor-billed Curassow, Mitu tuberosa (1 irridescent blue/black feather; subtle but similar to M. tuberosa specimen).
