Notes:
Stick with one pointed end, curly wood shavings on the other. According to Chisato Dubreuil, this is used to hold ceremonial mats or to hold offerings to the gods in the altar. Made for the 1999 NMNH exhibit "Ainu: Spirit of a Northern People" using traditional Ainu materials and techniques.
