GREEN-GLAZED FLAT, RECTANGULAR BEAD HAS INCISED HIEROGLYPHS ON EITHER SIDE. HOLES PIERCED THROUGH LENGTHWISE.
Bead, large rectangular, white faience with green glazed carvings. Per Johns Hopkins University Egyptologist Betsy Bryan this is later New Kingdom in size and shape, ca. 19th and 20th Dynasties, but hieroglyphs are questionable. Not an obvious fake, but questionable. Glaze usually not wiped in authentic pieces.
