WELL USED INTERLACED BURITI STORAGE BAG MADE BY CANELA FROM PONTO VILLAGE. ONE END HAS WARP ENDS LAID DOWN SO THAT THE ENDS ARE FAT FIBER BUNDLES TIED OFF WITH CORD. OTHER END TIED TO ITSELF IN CENTER, TO THE BUNDLE OF THE OTHER END AT THE SIDE. STRAP SPLITS INTO 2 SMALLER BRAIDS AT THE ENDS WHICH ARE THREADED THROUGH BOTH SIDES OF THE BAG JUST BELOW THE BUNDLE AND TIED TOGETHER ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE. STRAP FIBERS ARE BREAKING. OBTAINED FROM PO'POI, A 22 Y/O FEMALE. TRADED THIS BAG FOR ARROWS FROM KRIKATI WHEN THEY PASSED THROUGH HERE POSSIBLY 2 YEARS BEFORE. "NO ONE HERE KNOWS HOW TO MAKE SUCH BAGS". USED. 3 CRN.
