Notes:
Wooden heddle pulley. Four-sided face with curious pointed triangular shaped top in which have been given three notches each side and the fourth being the hole for the string facing frontwards. Square shoulders with incision marks back and front. Slight breast or rod present. As the space is rather small for function this heddle holder may be a fetish used by weavers. Only very slight marks are visible on arms and may not have been used. Stained and very light weight."
