A watercolor painting of a woman wearing this dress (or one very much like it, with the same shape, color, and trim) was cataloged as part of E131315, which was later transfered to the National Anthropological Archives. Pictures of both the dress and a detail of the painting are in Chang-su Cho Houchins, 2004, "An Ethnography of the Hermit Kingdom The J.B. Bernadou Korean Collection 1884-1885", page 51.
"Late 19th century. Green silk brocade with muslin lining and cotton collar and cuff facings. This mantle has red git (lapels), two pairs of long ribbons in front and a white-cotton dongjeong (narrow striped collar). Both lapels and collar detach for laundering. For use outdoors, the mantle covers the head and leaves only the eyes and nose exposed. The sleeves dangle on both sides of the head. One pair of the ribbons is for tying, and one trail as a decoration..... Collected in Seoul.
