Figure of a smiling, seated man with a "daruma" (dharma doll). Stubby, legless daruma dolls stand upright in whatever position they are put down. They represent the Indian priest Dharma, who is reputed to have lost his legs after sitting for many years in meditation. They are also symbolic of good luck. Unsigned.
