E416199 – E416202A are most probably Passamaquoddy. In April 1890, Jesse Walter Fewkes traveled to Calais, Maine to work with the Passamaquoddy Tribe to test out the new phonograph technology. Fewkes made recordings on 35 wax cylinders (31 of these cylinders survive.) Fewkes also went to Point Pleasant, Maine. See also Fewkes, J. Walter. "A Contribution to Passamaquoddy Folk-Lore."
