From card: "This piece of equipment consists of the following: A. Cylindrical section of bamboo filled with roll of palm leaf fiber into which darts are stuck and with carrying cord. B. Darts - made from palm leaf midribs. C. Spherical gourd holding the floss from silk cotton tree, which is wrapped around base of each dart when used. D. Toothed fish jaw to groove darts before use, so point breaks off in the victim. Refer: Stirling, BAE bulletin 117, p. 83-4, a, b." Simple design is incised on gourd.
