Information from Leonid Lantsman, 2014: A 19th C. Persian Qajar revival broadsword. This example was made in the style of early Persian broadswords and was part of the Persian revival of the 19th C. which sought to glorify the earlier history of the Persian empire. This example is all iron, with silver overlay and the original scabbard.
