Miniature cradleboard. Wooden frame ornamented with brass tacks, fully beaded hide cover with cloth lining. Lazy stitch beadwork in geometric pattern. Style is not typically Kiowa. 19" (48 cm). Records: Donor stated this was given her, shortly after her birth in 1881 by a Kiowa Indian woman, Fort Sill, Indian Territory. The donor used to carry her doll in it. (A, C).
