From card: "Fragmentary, thin buckskin, with linear decoration in natural, orange and brown quills. Quill wrapped cut fringe at edges. Possibly a saddle cloth - J. C. Ewers." Per Carolyn Gilman, 2008, this object seems to have a mix of Woodlands and Plains styles, the design includes a Thunderbird, and the object is similar to a piece in the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology, # 90-17-10/49310, https://collections.peabody.harvard.edu/objects/details/1238 .
