From card: "Excellent specimen; buffalo skin tube, tapering to rear; stick in small skin cylinder at top, runs nearly fully length of quiver; remnant of suspension cord (skin) with remnant braided red and brown textile attached. Decoration primarily in quillwork at mouth; rear end; one long side and quill wrapped cut fringe. The side dec. consists of 4 rosettes, each diminishing in diam. (front one to back); largest 3 1/2" diam; smallest 2 7/8" Technique of these quilled rosettes fine wrapping of horsehair base in spiral. Background colors - natural quills; designs in dark brown, orange and red' each rosette is edged with one continuous line of sky blue pony beads. Another rosette covers read end of quiver (no bead edging.)"
