Information from Leonid Lantsman, 2014: 19th C. Indian Zaghnal battle axe. Iron axehead inlaid with brass, now tarnished dark. Rosewood or hardwood handle reinforced with iron, and with iron rosettes. The counter balance is shaped as a "howdah" or elephant carriage. 19th C.
