From card for set of basket and dice: "Gambling tray. Purchased from the Indians by a lady living in Tulare 1890." Accompanying gambling tray/basket is # E328026-0.
Dice consist of four half shells of nuts (walnuts?), filled with what appears to be asphaltum? (raw petroleum or bitumen). Glass beads and bits of shell are embedded in the asphaltum. Compare to E19695 and E417679.
