From card: "Blades slender and hafted at an angle through a hole in the handle. The edges of the blade are flattened and incised with notches. Two of the handles are of wood, one carved and wrapped with tin and copper strips. The other handle is a cylindrical rod of iron. Cleaned, see Restoration Record 9-9-64 (B) & (A-X) a,b Axes with blades almost identical in ornamentation is ascribed to the Ba-Ushi in "TrÀskfolket" by Eric von Rosen, fig. 283, p. 361. iron axe identified as coming from Northern Rhodesia-Wm Fagg 3-5-64"
