Information from Leonid Lantsman, 2014: 18th C. Persian shamshir, with a fine watered steel, wootz, blade. Grip is composed of ivory grip scales. Scabbard is ass skin leather with iron mounts. Blade displays a fine laddered kirk narduban pattern.
