Albert Naquin, Traditional Chief; Boyo Billiot, Deputy Chief; Chantel Comardelle, Tribal Secretary; and Heather Stone, collaborator; made the following comments during the Isle de Jean Charles Band of Biloxi-Chitimacha-Choctaw Recovering Voices Community Research Visit, October 23-27, 2017. Boyo describes that to use a washing paddle you put the clothes in the stream or bayou and hit the paddle against the clothes.
