Blue circle at center, surrounded by four rows of red and blue rays, feather pendant at center, two tufts of horsehair and braided yarn strap at back. Outside. Records: This was a shield of the Comanches, who "threw it away," probably because the owner had been wounded. It was found and appropriated by Kopdom. He was killed in Texas in 1859. (C).
