FROM CARD: "BANDS OF BADGER HIDE DECORATED WITH ANTELOPE TOES FEATHERS AND QUILL WORK. WORN IN THE DANCE. NOT LOCATED 3/1978."
These have been identified as insignia of an Arapaho men's society, probably the Spear Lodge, by reference to A. Kroeber, The Arapaho, AMNH Bulletin, 1904. (There may be a mix up between 200431 and 200432.)
