AHAYU:DA FIGURE AND 14 PRAYER STICKS DEACCESSIONED FOR REPATRIATION (PARTIAL) TO PUEBLO OF ZUNI, 14 MARCH 1987, (176544A-N,X). 8 PRAYER STICKS AND 1 FEATHER PLUME WERE RETAINED BY THE MUSEUM.
There are 25 total items in this catalog number. 16 of those items (designated A-N, X) have been deaccessioned and repatriated, including the Ahayu:da figure and 14 prayersticks. The prayersticks had been inserted into the yucca wrappings at the base of the figure. Eight prayersticks (4 pairs) and one crossed feather plume remain at the Museum.
