From card: "Petticoat of human hair ornamented with round, oval, and angular pearly discs of a fresh water bivalve (probably a species of Anodon) together with bird bones arranged in geometrical designs. The skirt is woven in a solid piece of sennit braided out of human hair. The lower margin terminates in a fringe of pendant hollow seeds called by the Indians tucui (probably a species of chrysophyllum, or star apple)."
