Style: Effigy Shape/Form: Human male Alteration: Warped heat Manufacturing Notes: Eye spots are excised - probably had inlays. Tenon extends out from base. Design: Headdress attachment Surface Modification: Smoothed, incised Symbols: Human Residue: Glauconite, Cu, basket fragment on face (cheek) Use Trace: Heated. Probably burned prior to mortuary ritual. Did not burn much, but enough to damage head, destroy left arm, and leg. Comments: Total length includes tenon = 50.5cm. Right side well preserved. Left side got burned some. Buttock is defined. Head has 2 slots in center and rt of center (left side damaged). Deep incision runs around head behind the ears. Right ear is realistic. Dent in abdomen could signify navel. Hairline clearly carved. Right arm has separated at shoulder.
