Style: Craig C Raw Material 2: Busycon sinistrum Element: Apical and body fragment. Alteration: Weathered Manufacturing Notes: Crude engraving w/ lots of tool slippage. Hole drilled in apex, 1 cm in from shoulder. Design: Apex incorporated into design. Surface Modification: Incised Symbols: Falcon man, speech scroll, facial tattoo, columella pendant w/ 3 lines, sash, beaded forelock, roach, perf pulley earspool, 3 feathers at back of head, claws for hands, knee fringe/tassel. Comments: Inner surface is split and deteriorated. Outer surface ok. Figure has 10 spherical beads on necklace w/ pendant. C-shaped lips. Roach is engraved onto shell apex. Very little detail in the costume, and bird characteristics or minimized.
