Notes:
Selected remains from Shanidar collected when Solecki was in the employment of the SI. The collection also includes remains from wild goat, equids, large and small bovids, cervids, pig, small mammals, birds, and shell. Provenience information is included with material. Material represents Square A7, Layer C at a depth of 3.10 and is housed in a shared box with USNM 424944-424954. Remaining material from Shanidar is probably at Columbia.
Part of specimen removed by Ralph and Rose Solecki for analysis in the1990s. Returned in 2016 and was recataloged as part of the Ralph S. and Rose L. Solecki Papers and Artifacts Project (2018-2019).
