Tool marks oblit by deterior. Design: Head one side, tail/handle on opposite rim. Surface Modification: Polished, incised Symbols: Snake, concentric rings. Residue: Epoxy, not very much prehistoric residue. Use Trace: Broken. Refits: Consists of 35 fragments refitted and held w/ epoxy. Comments: A section of wall has fallen out because of weakened epoxy join. Snake head is 2.65 cm wide and 6.36 cm high ad 5.35 cm deep. Similar enough in design, execution and raw material to have been made by same artist as for 423149. In each case the handles are flat shelves extruding out from the rim but not elevated above the rim. The incising simply follows the contours of the handle, w/o dipping down below the handle.
