1 tip missing - square cut to identify wood. Identified 8-13-35 by W.N. Watkins, U.S.N.M. as Douglas fir (Pseudotsuga taxifolia Britt). Sapwood (strongest) on back of bow, heartwood on belly. No trace of sinew binding.
