L-1492 (Colchester Jasper):
Colchester, also known as Monkton, Parrot Hill, Vermont Jasper, or Colchester Jasperoid, is a jasperoid or quartzite. It is orange, red, or maroon. When weathered it becomes brown or black. It has a coarse to fine grain texture. Deposits include tabular and chunks.
