Donor Notes: "Ft. Belnap [sic] Reservation (Gros Ventre and Assiniboine), Montana Female Doll made by Angela Shawl. Her head is is hard with a face of skin and beaded features. Hair is gray yarn and her headband is soft red cloth. Her earrings are a single larger red bead. Her body is wire-reinforced stuffed cotton. Doll is wearing a bright cotton-print-on-bright blue dress and holding a skin rattle and a feather fan. Her belt shows plains-type "German silver" decorations. She has cotton blue-plaid underpants. Her braid ties are 7/8" medallions with orange and pale blue beads. Her necklace is medium blue pony beads with two shells in front. She wears black felt leggings trimmed with red ribbon and pale blue and orange beaded flowers decorate her skin moccasins. 1971"
