Notes:
PLC-1 (Permian Long Creek): This member of the Foraker formation is found in Cowley Co. KS. and surrounding KS. The chert is a very coarse textured light to dark gray chert with many fossil fusulinids and crinoid fossils. At 10 X one sees numerous small cavetieswhere fossils have leached out. Workability is awful to poor.
