Notes:
Basketry Sifter. Round basketry tray with flat bottom and sloped sides. Bottom is twined, open weave with an additional element added to create a very subtle zig-zag pattern. Sides are coiled basketry. Rim and foot wrapped with a strip of leather to reinforce them. Donor says this basket is for sifting tef (grain) and was "purchased in the big Mercato [in Addis Ababa]."
