Coiled basket decorated on interior and exterior with brown, red and green-colored diamond pattern. Some fading on the exterior.
Typed note inside vessel: "47. Basketry Olla. Tribe: Hopi - Arizona, of the type made by Second Mesa villages of Shipaulovia, Mishongnovi, and Shongopovi. Design: 3/4" wide coils, faint design patterns red-brown-green, on natural ground. Size: 12" h., 14" dia., 10" opening. Circa: 1900. Condition: worn condition, slightly rotted bottom."
