Note inside vessel says: "23. Black Pottery Vase. Tribe: Santa Clara Pueblo - New Mexico. Design: finger impressions approx. 1" apart around body, with pie crust rim; a metal container wedged inside. Size: 6 1/2"h., 6" dia. Circa: Historic period - 1900-1920. Condition: good."
