Woven basket with handle and decorative looped rim. 4 (?) bands of a rectangular design in dark brown (possibly faded blue or green?).
Typed note inside basket says: "14. Basketry Vessel w/Handle. Tribe: Wasco - Northwest Oregon along Columbia River. Design: plain, two element z-twining utilizing twisted hemp for warp and weft. Band, rectangle, and triangle motif, and rim loops. Size: 3 1/2" h., x 9" sq. Circa: 1915. Condition: basket fair: handle v. poor"
