This postcard showing "San Juan Capistrano Mission, Capistrano, California" was printed using the halftone process by Van Ornum Colorprint Co. Los Angeles, California. The postcard was published as series number 581.
Van Ornum Colorprint Co. was a publisher from 1908 to 1921 of unusually tinted halftone view-cards, mostly depicting scenes of southern California.
The San Juan Capistrano Mission was founded in 1776 and it is located about sixty miles southeast of Los Angeles.
