Description:
The inductorium devised by the German physiologist Emil Du Bois-Raymond (1818-1896) is an induction coil that produces variable intensity electrical energy. Inscriptions on this example read “E. ZIMMERMANN / LEIPZIG / BERLIN” and “IMPORTED BY / ARTHUR H. THOMAS CO. / PHILADELPHIA.”
