Description:
Harris Payton Mosher (1867-1954) and Chevalier Quixote Jackson (1865–1958) were American physicians famous for extracting foreign bodies from stomachs and devising new ways to do so. The Mosher-Jackson Trap-Door Bronchoscope was designed for closing safety pins so that the pins could safely be extracted from stomachs. This example was made by Pilling.
