Description:
Voice keys are used in reaction time experiments. This form—in which sound causes the foil membrane to vibrate, activating a timing device through the stimulation of an electric circuit—was developed by Knight Dunlap (1875-1949), an American psychologist who believed in a neuropsychological foundation for consciousness that could be explained and studied scientifically as a process.
