The program was broadcast live on the NBC Blue Network and featured music by Schubert, Strauss, Haydn, and Bach.</p>
<p>Internationally renowned conductor Arturo Toscanini (1867–1957) led this popular orchestra that was featured on weekly radio broadcasts and popular sound recordings.</p>
