Description:
This music box was made by an undetermined maker and place, around 1850-1860. It is a tableaux music box , with 1 tune, <i>Toreador Song</i> from the opera, <i>Carmen.</i> This music box has a model ship with a painted ocean scene inside a glass dome on a wooden base. The music box is activated by a key wound spring.
