Description:
Double-beam, double-pillar, cast-iron platform scale. The upper beam reads from 1 oz. to 10 lbs.; the lower beam reads from 4 oz. to 25 lbs. The painted inscriptions on both sides of the base read “BUFFALO SCALE CO.” “BUFFALO” also appears in raised letters in the center of the base. The firm referred to this as a Niagara Counter Scale with self-aligning bearings, that was exceptionally sensitive and durable.
