Braille Type Eraser
Description:
This “eraser” is made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene known commercially as Teflon. It was made in 1987 by Home Press of the Perkins School for the Blind, and was used to "erase" raised dots of a braille cell. The application was first used in 1964.
