Description:
Rounded rectangular case with spring-loaded, hinged lid featuring applied decoration of an anchor and rope; plain concave back. Gold washed interior has two matte-silver spring retainers, the one in back half is struck "STERLING-F" with "743/28" scratched below. Push-tab catch is stamped "7" inside. No maker's marks.
