Description:
In 1935, the Smithsonian mounted an exhibit of plastic and other synthetic materials. This celluloid beer foam scraper is one of several items that the Celluloid Corporation provided for that purpose. The “P. BALLANTINE & SONS” inscription refers to a New Jersey brewery established in 1840.
