Press Print: 653924ro The Hydra-Headed Subject Absent-mindeness is the cause of one of the most irritating of photographic blunders--the double, or, in cases of extreme forgetfulness, triple, exposure. Beside being wasteful of film, this kind of error may result in discondrting and sometimes downright embarrassing pictures, such as shots of your mother-in-law sitting on the curb in front of a beer parlor or people sprouting heads hydra-like in all dirctions, like this poor girl. This sort of thing can be corrected by simply remembering to move your film to the next exposure immediately after taking each picture.
