Stereographic view of two men looking at a rock wall covered with writing. From a Charles Waldack negative. Printed on recto: "Magnesium Light Views in Mammoth Cave." and "Entered according to and Act of Congress in the year 1866, by Proctor & O'Shaughnessy in the Clerk's Office of the District Court of the U.S. for the So. Dist. of Ohio." Printed on verso: "Mammoth Cave Views. / No. 25. / "Grand Crossing." / Is in "Pensacola Avenue. Here four large avenues branch off from the main one. The rocks here are completely covered with the names of visitors scratched on them. Grand Crossing is about two miles and a quarter from the entrance. / Published by e. & H. T.
